What to do: The heater needs testing and replacing if faulty.
Cause: Water has reached the leak sensor in the base, or the drain hose is pushed too far into the standpipe.
What to do: Check the drain hose is not sealed into the pipe and look for leaks. If it returns, call a technician.
Cause: The water level is too high: a faulty inlet valve or level sensor.
What to do: Turn off the water and unplug the washer. The valve and sensor need testing.
Cause: Too much detergent.
What to do: Wait until the suds settle; the cycle will continue. Use less HE detergent.
Cause: The laundry has bunched to one side or the washer is not level.
What to do: Redistribute the load and adjust the leveling feet.
Cause: A button on the control panel is jammed or held down.
What to do: Press each button to free it. If the code stays, the panel needs service.
