Too many suds

Cause: Too much detergent, or non-HE detergent in an HE washer.

What to do: Let the washer finish its rinse routine. Use only HE detergent and less of it.

Off-balance load

Cause: The load has shifted to one side of the basket.

What to do: Open the lid, spread the laundry evenly and restart.

Main control fault

Cause: The main electronic control has an internal fault.

What to do: Unplug the washer for 2 minutes. If the code returns, the control board needs diagnostics.

Long drain

Cause: The drain pump filter is clogged or the drain hose is kinked.

What to do: Unplug the washer, open the lower access panel and clean the pump filter. If the code returns, the pump needs replacing.

Pressure sensor fault

Cause: The water level sensor or its hose is faulty or disconnected.

What to do: The pressure hose and sensor need checking by a technician.

Door won't lock

Cause: The door lock assembly is faulty or something is caught in the latch.

What to do: Make sure nothing is caught in the door and close it firmly. If the code stays, the lock needs replacing.

Cause: The main control and the motor control are not talking to each other.
